.... Does Dan have a scar or deformity? His friends have seen him without his hood and they never reacted like Bill did... usually huge plot points like this are hinted at long before... well When Sam first saw Dan without his hood she was all shocked but that was more of a joke that he didn't have his hood... I guess it could be used to support this but it feels kind of shoehorned in.
